Kerry Niec, MA, LPCC is a behavioral health specialist for children and adults. She provides counseling and therapy to people dealing with challenges like addiction, depression, anxiety, trauma, panic disorder, burnout, and more. She listens with empathy, warm acceptance, and positive regard. And she values discretion.
Mental Health impacts every area of our lives, including productivity, self-image, relationships, and our physical health.
Kerry offers you the opportunity to express yourself openly in a safe environment. Kerry believes counseling should be a journey of self-exploration and self-discovery, meant to increase your level of self-understanding and self-awareness. She, as the counselor, acts as a guide or facilitator for this journey. She does not tell you what you should think, feel or do. She helps you identify, develop, and mobilize your own ideas and resources to successfully solve problems and meet challenges.
Kerry is also DBT certified. As an evidence-based treatment, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) specifically helps patients experiencing behavioral issues and difficulties with their emotions.
