Alicia Padilla is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She provides primary care for children and adults.
Alicia partners with her patients to help them improve their health and quality of life. She enjoys treating patients from all backgrounds and walks of life. She believes in using her skill, knowledge and caring manner to treat each patient as an individual.
As a primary care provider, Alicia provides routine check-ups and treats cold and flu-like symptoms, ear infection, minor injuries, skin conditions, back pain, sport injuries, sprains, urinary tract infection, as well as chronic conditions like diabetes, high cholesterol, and high blood pressure. As a female provider and former Labor & Delivery nurse, she takes a special interest in contraceptive management and post-partum follow-up needs for women. She can also be your partner if you want evidence-based guidance on how to achieve a healthier lifestyle.
Alicia is a native of Las Vegas and worked for 17 years as a clinical nurse. She decided to go back to school to become a nurse practitioner in order to help address the shortage of healthcare providers common in rural areas.

Getting to know Alicia:
Northern New Mexico is and always will be home for Alicia. She loves raising her three adolescent children here and being proactive in the community. In her free time, she goes to the gym and spends time with her children.
